Western North Carolina is full of beautiful scenery and High Falls Waterfall is no exception. This astounding 100 ft. tumbling waterfall is a must-see. Along the 1.4 mile round trip trail to High Falls, you’ll find a variety of plants, animals, and terrain. The constructors of the trail beautifully blended the path with the natural surroundings of the forest, so you can enjoy your hike from start to finish.
If you’re looking for a way to get outdoors for a quick stroll, the Greenway Loop is perfect for you. This one mile, paved trail following the Tuckasegee River is a great way to get some fresh air. Take a walk, go for a run, or read a book on one of the many sitting benches along the path.
